Hi, I’m Naimur.
I turn complexity
into possibility.
At the intersection of operations research and machine learning, I build decision tools for a more equitable, resilient world.

News.
Our CoRe-MARL preprint is on arXiv, studying cooperative relief redistribution under uncertain, evolving supply and demand.
Our preprint Beyond Similarity is on arXiv, exploring graph learning for food substitution in charitable food agencies.
Completed my PhD studies in Industrial Engineering at NC State. My dissertation brings together location-allocation and multi-agent preferences in a food-bank network.
Joined Amazon as an Applied Scientist II, working in Modeling and Optimization with simulation, mathematical models, and reinforcement learning.
Our study of alliance norms in humanitarian food agencies appears in the Winter Simulation Conference proceedings.
Earlier updates
Started my Research Scientist internship at Amazon in Bellevue, studying stochastic optimization for fulfillment sortation.
Received the Summer Graduate Award from the NC State College of Engineering.

About me.
Good science starts
with a human problem.
How can food reach the people who need it most? How can organizations make better decisions with limited resources? These are the questions that guide my work.
I bring mathematical optimization, statistical learning, and simulation together to study food-bank networks, equitable access, and collaboration in humanitarian supply chains.
I’m an Applied Scientist II at Amazon in Bellevue, Washington. My academic journey connects industrial and production engineering at BUET with doctoral research at NC State. Along the way, I’ve taught engineering and explored how research translates into practical decisions.
